Limestone
Men's Ministry is a Charter member of the
National Council of
Presbyterian Men whose purpose is to promote the kingdom of God
worldwide by encouraging men to serve Jesus Christ in the work of
the Church. All men of Limestone are invited to participate in
Men’s Ministry meetings and activities.
We will meet the second Saturday of each month unless

February 2, 2008 - Ninth Annul Chili/Soup Cook-Off
Limestone Presbyterian Men's Ministry held their ninth Annul Chili/Soup
Cook-Off on February 2, 2008 at Limestone Presbyterian Church. This event
promotes fun, food, fellowship with displays of some of the
activities and services that support our church and community.
February 16, 2008 - Fourth Annual Valentine Breakfast
Limestone Presbyterian Men and Women Ministries will hold their fourth
Annual Valentine Breakfast on February 16, 2008 at Limestone Presbyterian
Church. The event starts at 8:00 AM. The cost is a reasonable $5.00. The
event's focuses is Mission Outreach. This year the topic is Limestone's
support of the Hurricane Katrina Gulf Coast victims. Contact Limestone

April 5, 2008 - Sixth Annual Communion Breakfast
Limestone Presbyterian Men will hold their sixth Annual Communion Breakfast on
April 5, 2008. This year our speaker is the Rev. Dr. Charles "Buz" Myer who
holds a BA degree from Duke University plus an M.div degree and Ph.D. degree
in New Testament language and Literature from Princeton Theological Seminary.
This is the only New Castle County Presbytery-wide annual Men's Ministry event.
All men are welcome regardless of faith. The cost is $20.00. For more

Limestone's Men Ministry continues to have a positive effect within New Castle
Presbytery, Synod of Mid Atlantic and National Presbyterian Men's Ministry
(NPMM). Our focus is to promote, support and encourage men to come to know
Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. All men are welcome to participate with
us during our meetings, events and/or studies.
Other noteworthy information: Ron Crick, our Men's Ministry Leader, will be
leading the 2008 Synod of Mid Atlantic Men's Council Fellowship/Conference at
Massanetta Springs, Harrisonburg, VA on July 18-20, 2008. Also, Neeshard
Ahamad will be leading the same event in 2009. It is an honor that two men
from our Limestone Men's Ministry have been chosen to lead such an important
Synod Men's Ministry event. All men are invited to come and be enriched by
this wonderful uplifting experience.
