Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) - Everything you ever wanted to know. . . and even stuff you wouldn't think to ask. So much information can be found here. Current events, press releases, a chat room, mission information, daily readings, information on the General Assembly's activities, news, disaster response, so much more to even list. You can even look up congregations by zip code, on a searchable database that includes graphs on membership totals and a host of congregational statistics.

New Castle Presbytery- Policies, Mission statement, news, and a directory of churches. Bounded on the north by Pennsylvania and on the south by Virginia, on the east by the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean and on the west by the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay, the Presbytery covers the nine eastern counties of the State of Maryland and the entire State of Delaware.

Lyle and Terry Dykstra's Mission Web Page - This is a link from the PCUSA's web page, posted for the Dykstra and written by them. There is a picture and some background information. They can update this page from time to time, so check back often.

Men's Council of the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic- This website includes complete information on men's ministry and activities in churches and Presbyteries, resources and upcoming conferences, including the Annual Men's Conference in Massanetta Springs.

"Presbyterians Today" magazine - An introduction to the award winning magazine. This website will link you to information about the publication, articles from the magazine, beliefs, and mission. You can read some of what is in the current issue, find out what is coming up in the next issue, and look at what is planned for the coming year. You can purchase copies of the magazine online.

Habitat for Humanity - This is the national organization's web page, with links to local chapters. You can see the latest news from Habitat as well as link to the New Castle County Habitat page.

Friendship House - It began as a thrift store called "The Friendship House", located on Market Street, which was operated by Meeting Ground, a Maryland-based homeless ministry of the New Castle Presbytery. During an especially severe December snow storm, Herbert S. Stine, the volunteer store manager, chose not to close the store at 5:00 P.M. in order that his homeless customers might have a sanctuary from the snow and wind. From that night until the following spring, The Friendship House remained open twenty-four hours a day, offering night time shelter to as many as twenty homeless folks and beginning a new ministry of daytime assistance and advocacy. On April 1, 1987 the city fire marshal ordered The Friendship House to close and not reopen until it could be fully licensed as a shelter. At the same time church volunteers from Immanuel Church, Highlands and First and Central Presbyterian Church convinced their church communities to co-sponsor this homeless ministry. In coalition with Meeting Ground, these two churches and several other committed individuals formally incorporated as Friendship House, Inc. Read more about the history and evolvement of this wonderful program and its mission and ministry at their web page.

Meeting Ground - Providing housing and hope through works of fellow Christians. Bringing together good works and good people to put a dent in poverty. Located just across the border in Elkton MD. This site has a wonderful photo gallery, where a picture truly speaks volumes about the work they are doing.

Meals On Wheels - The Official National Organization's homepage with links to local groups and a history page. The Limestone Congregation works with the Wilmington Meals On Wheels program. Their website is City Fare - Wilmington's Meals-on-Wheels and More! City Fare's phone number is 302-421-3734.

The National Council of Churches - The National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA (NCC or National Council of Churches on second reference) is the nation's leading organizations in the movement for Christian unity. It's 35 Protestant and Orthodox member communions (denominations) include more than 50 million adherents in approximately 140,000 congregations in communities across the country.

Million Mom March - Daily news and updates on the legislative action taking place for sensible gun laws and the impact on our lives.

Ghost Ranch - Ghost Ranch is a year-round education and mission center of the Presbyterian Church, (U.S.A.) located in the mountains of northern New Mexico. They welcome people of diverse faiths and racial origins. Ghost Ranch is surrounded by a rich tapestry of multicultural communities. The beautiful high desert landscape and the quality of program combine to give the guest an experience of rest, re-creation and renewal.

Troop 660 - Boy Scout Troop 660 was chartered in 1971 at Limestone Presbyterian Church.

Bible Study Tools - An intensive search engine for many versions of the Bible. You can set your search results to show the chapter and verse as well as other writings and study guides on the subject you enter. Very useful if you are looking for other references as well as the Bible for your research. However, searches are specific to the words you type in. For instance if your enter "baptism", you will only see Bible references that include that specific word and not "baptize", baptizing", etc. So you may have to search more than one time for the same subject. But this is one of the most complete guides I have come across to date.

Bible Gateway - From the people at The Gospel Communications Network this is another Bible reference page. Less extensive as the Bible Study Tools, but may be faster and easier for those who just need the chapter and verse, without any other notes or study guides. Easy to use. Includes eight different versions of the Bible in 9 different languages.
