Pastors Carolyn and Bruce Gillette

On June 13, 2004, the congregation of the Limestone Presbyterian Church
voted unanimously to call the Reverends Bruce and Carolyn Gillette to be
the church's co-pastors.

The Gillettes, who served together in Pitman, New Jersey for ten years,
explain why they accepted the call to Delaware:

Limestone church is a wonderful congregation. They offer joyful, creative worship - both contemporary and traditional services - with a strong music program with four choirs: Chancel Choir, Living Water contemporary ensemble, Youth Choir and the Joyful Noise Singers children's choir. Their educational programs are outstanding, with a strong Church School on Sunday mornings. The church has many learning opportunities for adults. It is also a very caring congregation with trained 'Stephen Ministers.' The congregation has a proud history of support for service and missions.

Bruce and Carolyn bring a variety of gifts to the ministry, including expertise
in family ministry, peacemaking, ecumenism and hymn writing; and they
have been keynote speakers for regional meetings on family ministry.

They welcome all questions about faith and life. They have been pastors for twenty years and one of the most joyful parts of their ministry is helping
