We are a fellowship of people that seek to reflect God's love in the world by following the example of Jesus Christ.

God gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes
Psalm 147:16

Given that God has blessed us all with another snowy weekend, we will not have the 8:45 a.m. worship service or Church School this Sunday morning, February 7th, in Limestone Presbyterian Church.

We hope to have an 11:00 a.m. worship service this Sunday, February 7th, for those who can safely come to worship.

  1. Roads: On Saturday evening, Governor Markell lifted the travel restrictions, but motorists are still strongly advised to stay off the roads. See what the roads are like later on Sunday morning; if you are at all uncomfortable driving, please do not drive to church. If you are experienced in driving in these winter conditions, join us for worship. If you live close to the church and feel comfortable walking to it, join us for worship.

We do not want anyone taking risks coming to worship tomorrow, but also will offer an opportunity for worship for those who can come safely.

  2. Church Parking Lot: This Saturday evening we talked to the snow plower who assured us the church lots will be available this Sunday morning for those who safely can get there.

  3. Scouts’ Sunday Help: While we are postponing Scout Sunday for a couple of weeks so more church members can be there, we are grateful that some Boy Scouts will be coming early tomorrow to help make sure the church parking lot and walks are in good shape by 11:00 a.m.
We do hope worship will happen by Limestone Presbyterians in their homes on Sunday if they cannot come to church.

Here are some ways you might consider worshipping this Sunday at home ....

Special appeal from the Deacon's Food Closet:
Our Food Closet is being depleted rapidly and we’re asking for help in this local mission. The number of families we’ve been able to help is truly wonderful and keeping the closet filled is one way we can all walk in faith no matter what we can afford to give.
Here is more info on how you can help ...
